If you are interested in becoming a surrogate rancher for the American Criollo Beef Association, this is the place to start. Raise your calves the ACBA way, and you can enjoy all of the benefits of Criollo Cattle, and also have a ready-made market to sell your calves when the time comes!

Your cattle have to be registered with the American Criollo Beef Association - which means they have DNA scores with qualifying numbers on tenderness and quality, and have the breed characteristics of a Criollo.

You must also raise your cattle on GRASS and HAY ONLY, and without growth hormones, grain products or antibiotics!. We do not allow cattle into our beef program that have EVER had grain products, growth hormones or antibiotics. You will be required to sign an affidavit stating your cattle were raised in accordance with ACBA requirements.

Our customers demand to have naturally raised, free-ranging, grass fed and grass finished beef. Directors of the ACBA are available for consulation to help you raise the right kind of grasses that put that rich and distinctive flavor in our Criollo Beef.

The following ranches are suppliers of Criollo Cattle seedstock. DNA tested and qualified Criollo Cattle from these ranchers are suitable for inclusion in the ACBA surrogate rancher program:
