4 beef Flat Iron Steaks (approx. 7 oz each)
3 large cloves garlic, minced Pesto: 1/3 cup basil pesto sauce
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
Combine pesto ingredients.
Press garlic onto beef steaks. Place steaks on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, covered, 10 to 14 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once. Season with salt. Serve with pesto.
